Arrived in Nagoya at 6am so brushed teeth before taking the local train to Gifu JR station at 6:23am. At 6:40am, it was snowing outside in Owari-Ichinomiya (Aichi). I went to MOS Burger for some takeout fries, and the guy who was manning the cashier was a little klutzy (he banged his foot on a shelf;;). After that, I took the bus towards Miyama, but turned out it was going towards Yamagata High School, so it was filled with a lot of students. And I sat in the back. Imagine what it was like trying to get off at my stop. ^^;;

When I got to the school, all the students were still in the gym, so I took the time to look around the new building and take pictures. I also met the new ALT, who's been there since March, named Joshua. He's with Interac.

When I was walking the halls after the students were back in their classrooms, I got a lot of reactions from the students who knew me from before. XD And also a few girls in 3rd year came to call me out at the beginning of lunch to say hi. (Takumi's younger sister Sonoka was the "leader" girl.) I was able to have school lunch with the teachers in the new lunchroom/cafeteria.

After 5th period, they had cleaning, and after cleaning, it was about time for me to head out. Mori-Sensei sent me off with her car to the bus stop, and I took the bus back to the station, had MOS for dinner, and then went to Nagoya to take the late afternoon bus back to Shinjuku (11:00pm).

Once I got back to Ogikubo, I joined Yoshi, [info]yamaneko, and some of Yoshi's co-workers for karaoke, and just got back around 40 minutes ago.

Just stayed indoors today and packed up. My suitcases are ready to get shipped off to the airport, and I'll have to go to the post office on Friday to send stuff via mail.

I'm heading out to take my luggage to the conbini now, and then will go to Kichijoji to check out the Higashi no Eden shop that opened today in promotion of the second moving coming out. From there, I'll probably come back to the apartment before heading off to Shinjuku to take the overnight bus to Nagoya. Should probably look up the train and bus times in Gifu as well.

Will be coming back to Shinjuku tomorrow night around 11pm, so it'll be a long day. =O

Went out to Enoshima with [info]xaevyn today. We both got the Enoshima-Kamakura Free Pass on the Odakyu line (1430 yen, versus the JR 1930ish yen pass). It took approximately 1 hour one way, and we got there in time for lunch.

There was LOTS of walking, up and down stairs. There were a few shrines, and lots of cats. We went to eat first, and then ended up going to the caves when we meant to go to the observatory. The caves were short and dank. ^^; Then we backtracked and went to the observatory, which was right by the place we had lunch. Tried going upstairs to the platform, but since it was outside, it was REALLY windy aside from being high up.

On the way back, we stopped at the shops and bought fresh tako-senbei (octopus senbei), which was delicious! I also was eying the ice cream, but it was too windy/cold for it. We were able to see the sun set on the way back across the walkway.

Plus, it was such a clear day, that we could see Mt. Fuji the whole day. =)

But being blown on by the sea wind all day kind of drains you, and so we slept on the way back to Shinjuku from Kitase-Enoshima station. We had dinner in Shinjuku Station's Lumine 2 building.

After that, I headed back to the apartment and just had a shower/bath. Now, I have to get to packing up so I can send off my suitcases to the airport for Saturday.

Thank you, [info]silvertales for the lovely card! It totally made my day ^_^

I really miss Y-con, I'm gonna try my best to get there in 2010.

Spent the day inside cleaning Yoshi's apartment. Good thing I did, too, because his aunts and one of his cousins came to drop him off. Also went to the market at the station to buy him some Campbell soup.

We had dinner in the Lumine building at the station at a pasta place. Had carbonara spaghetti using chopsticks. Picked up Bakuman v.6 on the way back, and also stopped in Family Mart to get some labels for delivering my luggage to the airport.

Now to try packing up a little so that I'll have my stuff ready for sending off in the next couple of days.

Tomorrow is a day-trip with [info]xaevyn to Enoshima. Trying to figure out whether or not to take the hanging monorail or not. XD

Coming to a realization that my trip is nearly over. Talked on the phone with Yoshi earlier, and he was asking if there was another Sunday before I have to leave. (Unfortunately, no, there isn't a Sunday before I have to leave as this is that particular Sunday.) Makes me feel a bit sad that I'll have to leave him. Not sure when I'll be able to see him next in person.

As for today, I headed out from Yokosuka around 12:30pm to get to Shinjuku at 2pm. Everyone ended up meeting late anyways because we were all in different parts of the station. I also took my stuff with me in the case that I returned to the apartment instead of Yoshi's grandma's place. (Yoshi's staying there another night and will get driven back tomorrow.)

Met up with [info]xaevyn, [info]phi, [info]nittle_grasper, and [info]kurot for lunch. We went to the Lumine building 7th floor for Korean food, and then the 8th floor for Coldstones ice cream. Then Ayli had to separate from us to go to an event, and the rest of us went to Ikebu. Went to a few places, but Animate was closed early. I picked up a couple Digimon doujin, including one for someone else, and the one and only TokiKake doujin they had out in the shelves at the time.

Afterwards, we had a cheap dinner at Saizeriya, and then went for purikura in the same building.

I rode back most of the way with Phi since we're on the same line.

Now trying to figure out what to do for tomorrow. Was originally planning to help out [info]maiki if she need help with stuff, but it seems like there's not much for me to do at the moment, so maybe I'll work on cleaning up a little or start packing up. Will see how Yoshi's doing tomorrow, check on his return time, and maybe head out?

Got up around 8-9am and took a shower/bath. Got to have Yoshi's grandma's miso soup, rice, and some of the new year's food. Watched the Hakone Ekiden (yearly marathon) on TV, and then Yoshi's other relatives came and they warmed up the ozone and oden stuff. I headed out around 2pm to head off toward Yokohama to meet up with Ku, Maiki, and Shundo-san. Ayli joined us about an hour later. I wonder what impression he's got of America now. XD;

Anyways, after that, the 4 of us girls went for dinner at an Okinawan restaurant (and my 3rd time having taco rice XD). Then we saw Maiki off, and the other two went with me to look for a new top (which I didn't end up getting..) and also to get a phone charger.

Right around 8pm, most places were closing up, so we all bought some food/omiyage, and parted ways.

When I got back, I tried talking with Yoshi's female cousins and aunts in English a bit. Then it was decided to take Yoshi to the doctor after calling an emergency line to see what place was open, and now he's got some medication. Hopefully that will help him get better sooner.

This will be the 3rd night in a row we're spending here at his grandma's place. I've been wearing the same clothes... OTL (which was why I was looking for another top). Luckily, I have my PJs, too.

---

Kanae is aiming for a lunch date tomorrow in Shinjuku, but I'm still iffy right now about whether or not I can go. Depends on Yoshi's condition tomorrow, I guess.

Spending another night at Yoshi's grandma's place. Yoshi is still a bit sick, so it's better that he doesn't go out... Not sure what it is, but we've been giving him stuff for the symptoms.

Likely going to Yokohama tomorrow from here (Yokosuka).

Had sukiyaki tonight with his relatives. Didn't go out today, but watch New Year's TV programs most of the day.

Heading out to Yoshi's grandmother's place to spend New Year's.
That's all I have time to post.

Heading out now... XD;

Chose to sleep in until 8am, and took the train at 9am. Got to Big Sight just about 10am, and only spent 30 minutes lining up before getting into the event.

Looked for the Ice Revolution circle, but they didn't attend. So then I went to the Hikaru no Go circle that I still follow (二重星) and bought her sairoku as well as the sairoku for the other circle that she normally does collabs with. I also asked for a sketchbook request, and luckily she said she could~ =D So I left my sketchbook with her, and went over to the other East Hall across the way to see how Area27 was doing. (They got in late.) I subbed in for MB so she could go do some shopping, and basically stuck around for the rest of the time.

After the event was over, we sent off the books, and then I accompanied Ku and MB to Yurakucho while Maiki, her friend, and Ayli headed back to Maiki's place.

Afterwards, I had dinner with Yoshi in Kichijoji at an Italian restaurant.

Now, we're watching some program on TV about rare things and occurrences.

Woke up at 4am, off to the station at around 5ish. There was a mishap on [info]xaevyn's part, but it was ultimately resolved, thankfully. =D We met up with our respective people and then got into lines; Ayli and her friend to the commercial booths, and Maiki, her friend, and I to West hall.

We went West hall -> East hall -> West hall. I asked about commissions, and got one sketchbook request done by a KH doujinshika (Siphon+). Too bad the kiri-e person didn't take larger commissions. =( Maiki and I also plan to commission this other crafts person to make us a couple of Mushroom Heartless. =D

I haven't gone through the stuff I got yet, but I'll probably wait until later to do so. I also gave Negi-sama her gift(s), and ended up going to her table a total of 4 times... ^^;; She still remembers me and even apologized for not having time to write back yet!

The three of us left around 1pm and went to Ikebukuro to have lunch at Saizeriya, and also met up with Ayli there. Then we went looking for a cafe for Maiki to work on her manga stuff. Later we met up with Ku so that she could go to Kinkos. From there, I had to part ways with them and join Yoshi and his old friend from high school (plus his girlfriend) for dinner in Shinjuku.

We had dinner at an izakaya called "Umi no Ie". The food wasn't bad... but it was a little smoky. After dinner we went for an hour of karaoke at Shidax nearby before it was time to head home.

Now, I need to take a shower and then get some sleep. Not being an uriko tomorrow, but I'll still help out once I'm done with my shopping, which is basically one circle (Hikaru no Go - Nijuuboshi), and checking out the only circle who is doing an Ice Revolution doujinshi. Then I will head over to Ku's table and help out. =)

Not much happened today. Went to Shibuya Citibank to exchange money, then came back here. Went to Town Seven to get a couple items, then attempted making fried rice for Yoshi. Did okay. =P

Showered, had a mishap with the candle wax stuff that I'm making a present for Negi, but was able to fix it.. somewhat. Now to head off to Ikebukuro. Staying with [info]maiki and [info]xaevyn tonight, and heading off early to Big Sight tomorrow!

That's all for today~

Today, I asked Yoshi to go with me to Cafe Zenon in Kichijoji. Apparently, it's a little close to the red-light district, but it was right under the train tracks, so it wasn't so bad.

The cafe turned out to be a pretty spacious place, and its focus is on spreading manga awareness. The main reason I went was because on Kamijo Eri's website, she had written that she was partaking in the "Center Wall Project," which turned out to be a single artwork from 12 different artists (including one from Wakamatsu Kaori!). But the main exhibit was in the loft. The artwork there belonged to the guy who did City Hunter.

Following the cafe, we stopped at a bookstore, and I picked up the Famitsu PS3+PSP magazine that had a really nice image of Terra, Ven, and Aqua on the cover (KH:BbS).

After that, we went to an arcade, and played this elevator shooting game in its entirety. And before that, a tank shooting game. By the time we got out of there, it was time to head to Sendagaya to go to this experience exhibit called Dialog in the Dark, which was originally from Europe. It was pretty interesting, and we got to try various things using all our other 4 senses (sight not included).

We spent about 1.5 hours there, and then from there, we headed back to go karaoke for 2 hours with [info]yamaneko.

Turns out I can reserve Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep at the Lawsons nearby using the Loppi machine! Pickup starts at 7am on the street date, so I'm A-ok for picking it up before my flight at 3pm. =D

Received my packages just before noon, and then asked Yoshi to go with me to the Indian place in Shibuya. Turns out it's a chain called Samrat, so we didn't have to look for that particular one exactly, except that I didn't know that until later. Well, now I know.

I wanted to go to Citibank in Center-gai, but they weren't open for transactions today, so I'll have to go back on Monday.

Came back the apartment, little cleaning, napped, and then went to buy groceries at Seiyu by the station. Turns out the reason I had a hard time finding the meat, fruits, and vegetables was because they were located one floor down. XD; But I kept seeing people with those items in their baskets, so I knew that if I looked around enough, I'd find them eventually. XD;;

In any case, I bought ingredients for fried rice and niku-jaga and will try making them tomorrow. I have a reference to look at for the niku-jaga, and I'm pretty sure I'll do okay with the fried rice, since I've made it a few times before.

Spent the evening watching ep.6-12 of Kimi ni Todoke. Something about the way Kazehaya is drawn is slightly different. Face is a little longer? Less detail in the facial lines? I'm not sure. D=

Woke up late in the morning, and worked on nengajou stuff some more. Headed out to Shinjuku around 2:30pm to meet up with [info]februaryfour and her boyfriend Doug. We went to this place called Good Times Cafe, which turned out to be a relatively large place, and I had taco rice and this funky pizza strip snack. I also took the time to finish up my hand-drawn KH nengajou for トレさん.

After the food, I asked to go to Tokyu Hands to buy a poster tube, and we also went to Kinokuniya for [info]februaryfour to get a new planner.

Then, Yoshi came and met us a little before they headed off to enjoy their Christmas dinner (cake and fried chicken, heheh). Yoshi and I went to Roppongi to see the illumination stuff going on there, since today was the last day it was displaying there.

I think I was feeling under the weather because we kept going back and forth between cold outdoors and warm indoors, so I took a couple Tylenol with soup, and we headed back to the apartment. It kicked in by the time we got back, and so we cleaned up a little and then I took a warm shower.

---

Waiting for re-delivery tomorrow morning, and then I don't really have much to do tomorrow. Will probably have dinner alone unless I can find someone to eat with.
